ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hi, I'm Kie (formerly known as "Mukichan"). I'm a middle-aged bigender "cute" artist/PNGTuber that likes and enjoys drawing chibis and cute things. Anime has been a huge influence in my life and my artworks as well as my peers and the people around me. I used to go by the alias "Mukichan" for over a decade online and decided in 2021 that for me to fully move forward in life and to cleanse myself of a toxic relationship and a toxic past, I needed to give myself a new name and a new meaning to life.Thusly, "Kie" was born. I came to terms with myself and identified as bigender in 2017 but didn't fully come out to anyone publicly until years later. Back then I always thought by being bigender, I thought I had a "boymode" and a "girlmode". That was not the case as years progressed and I continued to explore and better understand my gender identity. "Kie" is not only a combination of both the names that I gave myself for my "boymode" and "girlmode", but also a name that someone very dear to my heart gave me that I would forever cherish.Outside of watching Anime, I enjoy journaling, doodling, playing Genshin Impact and Tower of Fantasy, and listening to true crime podcasts. I'm a huge fan of acapella as well as ASMR. You can always catch me watching things on the Food Network or any food channels. These are just a few things that help keep me happy and my mind occupied from the things that can worry me from time to time.
Why "Little Kie Notes"?
Little Kie Notes actually was previously named "A Nguyening Kie"; but the first brand name was "Always Nguyening" which is a pun using my surname, Nguyen. Nguyen is a common Vietnamese family name and is pronounced very similarly to the English word "win". Growing up, I've had to deal with alot of hardships from various things in life which led to many years of depression. I felt that to battle depression, I needed to give myself a better meaning to life and give myself more positivity. With that, I started "Always Nguyening", which then was rebranded to "A Nguyening Kie" a year later in early 2022. As of July 2023, I decided to rebrand to "Little Kie Notes" to better combine my love for stationery, my childhood nickname that my long late cousin gave me ("Kie" which is pronounced "Key"), and small things.
Interested in Commissioning Art from Me?
I currently only accept commissions very sporadically via Ko-Fi, Twitter, or FurAffinity. (Mostly Twitter and FurAffinity). The reason being that I mostly draw furry/anthro art and that is where majority of my fanbase is. I apologize if this causes any inconveniences. My time to do art is very limited due to my health, so all I have is whatever arts I have already made into prints on my Etsy Shoppe.
